LEGIONNAIRES: You should now have your 2021 American Legion Membership Card in your possession or recently have paid your 2021 Dues and are awaiting your card.

If not, please contact the Post Adjutant at

Adjutant@SomersPost101.org or call (888) 240-8188.

If dues are not paid prior to January 1st, the member is classified as delinquent. Members still delinquent after February 1st shall be suspended from all privileges and shall have no right to serve as an officer, be elected to office, or vote.

Eligibility Requirements for American Legion Membership

IF YOU ARE A HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERAN - YOU ARE ELIGIBLE TO JOIN US

If you are currently on active duty, serving the United States honorably, anywhere in the world, or have served honorably, we invite you to become a member of The American Legion. National Guard and Reservists having been Federally activated (including basic training) also meet the eligibility requirements.

All members of The American Legion Riders shall be current members of The American Legion,

American Legion Auxiliary or Sons of The American Legion

Eligibility Requirements for Sons of The American Legion Membership

The male descendant (includes stepsons and adopted sons) of a current member of The American Legion. Or, The male descendant (stepsons and adopted sons included of a veteran who died in service or subsequent to (after) his or her honorable discharge from service in the United States Armed Forces.

Since our charter in 1932, The American Legion Buck-Dubiel Post 101 has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country, and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace, and blessings for our country, friends, and families embodied in our preamble below.
